World Cup 2018: England vs Belgium: Team news, injuries, possible lineups

England will take on Belgium in their last Group G 2018 World Cup fixture on Thursday night at the Kaliningrad Stadium.

The Three Lions go into the game after thrashing Panama 6-1 on Sunday.

The Gareth Southgate’s men have already qualified for the round of 16.

This game will decide which team wins the group, as Panama and Tunisia have since been eliminated from the tournament.

England captain, Harry Kane, who is currently the top goal scorer in the tournament, will hope to lead his side to victory against Belgium.

Defender, Kyle Walker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both have yellow cards to their names and could be rested.

Southgate has no new injuries worries in his squad ahead of the clash.

Meanwhile, Belgium head into the game after hammering Tunisia 5-2 on Saturday.

The Roberto Martinez’s men have already qualified for the round of 16.

Belgium have only won one of the previous 21 meetings against England.

Striker, Romelu Lukaku is expected to be among those to be rested despite having matched Kane’s feat of scoring at least, two goals in the opening two World Cup games.

Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Dries Mertens could also be left out, with the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Vincent Kompany, Mousa Dembele and Thomas Vermaelen all available as replacements.

Martinez has no new injuries worries in his squad ahead of this clash.

England potential starting XI: Pickford; Jones, Stones, Cahill; Alexander-Arnold, Henderson, Dier, Lingard, Rose; Rashford, Kane

Belgium potential starting XI: Courtois; Vermaelen, Boyata, Kompany; Dembele, Fellaini, Chadli, T Hazard, Tielemans, Januzaj; Batshuayi

Kick-off time for England vs Belgium is 7pm Nigerian time.
